Yes, our bartenders are Virginia ABC certified. Non-alcoholic beverages like Tea, Lemonade and Water are included in the Wedding Package.

Payment is due promptly at the time of finalization (21 days before your event). We can accept a check payment made payable to Hank's Catering and mailed to our restaurant at 49 Bloomer Springs Rd, McGaheysville, VA 22840 or we can accept a credit card through our online payment portal if that is best for you. We do charge a 2.5% cc processing fee for final payments. Take note that the restaurant staff cannot accept full service catering payments!

The majority of items we offer are naturally gluten free. We have the ability to accommodate some dietary needs, and identify them on our menus.

We are famous for our smoked meats: Pork, Brisket and Chicken. But we also have the capability of providing Salmon, Pork Loin and Steak.

Yes! Tastings / Consultations can be scheduled once a formal quote is in place. Tastings will accommodate up to four people.

No, we do not have a separate children's menu. Children under 10 can be counted as half of a guest.

Any leftovers will be packaged in aluminum pans, boxed and placed in a fridge on site.

We have the capability of providing plates, goblets, flatware and bar glassware as an add-on. We do not source guest table linens or linen napkins.

No food is cooked onsite. All items are cooked in our catering kitchen and transported hot to the venue, then we will prep the items in the venue kitchen.

Vendor meals must be included in your final count. You do not have to include catering staff in this number.

We can source local proteins for an additional cost.

1 catering staff member per 50 guests. Additional staff members will be onsite with add-ons such as ceremony set up, full reception set up, trash menu and alcohol packages.
